Apple Keynote event: new iPhone SE, iPad Pro, Smartwatch and more
Today Apple held it’s Keynote event in San Fransisco and there is a lot to get excited about for Apple Fans. So, here’s a roundup of everything announced by Apple.
iPhone SE

This has been rumoured for months and now it’s finally official – the iPhone SE will be available to pre-order from 24 March and the first handsets will be shipped as early as 31 March. The iPhone SE will pack the same specs as the iPhone 6s into a smaller device and boasting a 4-inch Retina display.
It also has the same A9 chip, a 12-megapixel camera and has 4K video capabilities. The iPhone SE will be available in four different colors:
Silver
Gold
Space Gray
Rose Gold
The prices will start at $399 for the 16GB model and $499 for the 64GB model which means it is $250 cheaper than it’s older brother the iPhone 6S. This also makes it the cheapest iPhone to date that should put a smile on many faces.
Apple Watch price drop
The entry level model price has been dropped from $349 to $299 however nothing has been announced for higher spec models.
iPad Pro
Apple has announced two new models the 9.7-inch and the 12.9-inch. While we’re all familiar with 12.9-inch screen size on the iPad Pro, the 9.7-inch is a new addition to the iPad pro family. It boosts the same screen size as the iPad Air 2 but add features 4K video recording, a 12 mega-pixel rear facing camera and a 5 mega-pixel front facing.
The 12.9-inch iPad Pro will boast similar features with the added convenience of a larger display and both models will be getting an all new 256GB Version.
Prices for the 9.7-inch model will start at $599 for the 32GB model, $749 for the 128GB version and the 256GB will set you back $899.
The 12.9-inch version of Apple’s new iPad Pro is priced at $799 for the 32GB model, $949 for the 128GB version and a whopping $1099 for the 256GB.
