LA Noire is coming to Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Xbox One and VR

Initially released to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 20, 2011 LA Noire makes a comeback. This time it will be available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and in virtual reality with the support of the HTC Vive headset. We can expect the remastered LA Noire to be released on November 14, 2017.

To recap, L.A. Noire is an action game that takes place in 1947, Los Angeles. You play as police officer Cole Phelps, former Marines during the Second World War, become an inspector at the criminal brigade, who will have to solve investigations inspired by real life events.

The PS4 and Xbox One version offers the full original game as well as all additional downloadable content. they also get some improvements to fine-tune the visual authenticity with new light and weather effects. Added to this are new camera angles, textures in high resolution.

On the Nintendo Switch LA Noire makes use of the touch screen

Similarly on the Nintendo Switch version, the game is complete with all additional content. The Joy-Con mode has been added in order to benefit from motion recognition thanks to the gyroscope. The use of HD vibration will also be part of the game as well as new camera angles (wide or over the shoulder) and the ability to use the touch screen, which should be interesting.

Finally, for the VR version, HTC announced that seven investigations of the main game will be present in the adaptation of L.A Noire VR. These missions have been remastered to adapt the transition into virtual reality. The arrival of LA Noire on HTC Vive is a big hit in the VR gaming. After Fallout VR and Skyrim VR it is Rockstar Games’s turn to enter the VR gaming world.
